JOHANNESBURG, March 2026 – HANCHU ESS is showcasing its energy storage solutions at Solar & Storage Live Africa 2026, held at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesburg from March 25 to 27. Located at Booth H5-F56, the company drew significant visitor traffic, with strong interest focused on commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage applications.

Reception Lounge Concept

A dedicated HANCHU Reception Lounge was presented as a space powered by the HANCHU system, combining an immersive product experience with meeting and catering functions. At the booth, HANCHU ESS is operating the live system powered by its own inverters and batteries. The setup supplies energy to real loads, including a coffee machine, air fryer, electric kettle, mini fridge, and booth lighting, allowing visitors to experience system performance in everyday scenarios.

Experiencing Center Launch and Partner Recognition

During the event, HANCHU ESS marked the official launch of the HANCHU ESS EXPERIENCING CENTER, joined by partners from both headquarters and South Africa. The company also held its 2025 Annual Awards Ceremony to recognize partners for their contributions to the energy transition.

The Experiencing Center project was developed in response to South Africa’s energy transition, the existing network of physical stores, and identified needs for store image upgrades and consistent service.

As of the end of 2025, over 40 stores had joined the program, with more than 90 under discussion. The Level 1 Full Store Upgrade Service covers design, approval, and construction, providing partner stores with a modern and consistent environment. Upgraded stores receive free sample units and one full working system for customer demonstration.
